He especially enjoyed laughing at and with his nieces and nephews Kaniah, Kaliq, Qaajae, Corey Jr, Ajiah, Kaylyn. He loved fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. ![]() ![]() Butey’s smile was infectious and anyone that received it was immediately drawn to his genuine spirit. He previously spent many years in the logistics industry. Butey was most excited about his recent position as a State Certified Fire Safety Inspector. Butey met the love of his life, Ashley Burgos, in 2017, and we certainly can’t forget about their “fur-baby” Nelly. Butey had a one-of-a kind relationship with his mother. He did not play about his mother or his sisters. As his mother’s only son, Butey absolutely loved his family. He loved to attend football games, encourage the youth, and talk trash about his teams. Butey was a proud Asbury Park Blue Bishop and a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Butey was educated in the Asbury Park School District. Butey’s life tragically ended on July 28, 2022, by a senseless act of gun violence. ![]() Kyshon Akeem Washington-Walker, affectionately known as “Butey”, was born on Augin Long Branch, NJ to the late James Washington and Deborah Walker. ![]()
